• 1 Bedroom House – 220 (French currency) – adapters needed for US items

Money Currency

• Dollars are accepted with change provided in dollars. The official currency of St. Martin is the Euro and the official currency of St. Maarten is the Netherlands Antilles Guilder (NAF). Credit cards are often accepted and ATM machines are available nearby.

Duty Free

• U.S. Citizens are generally each entitled to a $600.00 duty-free tax exemption.
• Canadian Citizens are generally each entitled to a $500.00 duty free exemption.

Car Rental

• Driving is on the right side of the street (same as in USA). It is relatively easy to get around the island. John & Cyndi would suggest a rental car and can offer recommendations. If you choose not to rent a car taxis and busses are available.
